Sennelier oil pastels were created in 1949 at the behest of Pablo Picasso, a frequent visitor to the company’s flagship store in Paris. The Spaniard sought a medium that could be used freely on a variety of surfaces without fading or cracking.

Originally available in classic hues, the selection has expanded to 120 colours across its range, each made from the highest quality pigments, a synthetic binding medium and mineral wax. The pastels are noted for their high pigment content and creamy texture. This set contains 36 Assorted Pastels
